Citizen Science Surveys
Citizen science surveys to track changes in Ireland’s biodiversity:
In order to conserve biodiversity in the wider countryside you first need to know how it is changing. The Data Centre operates a number of citizen science driven monitoring programmes that generate high quality, scientifically robust insights to track change in Ireland’s biodiversity. These include surveys to monitor butterflies, bumblebees, dragonflies, rare plants, hedgehogs, squirrels, stoats, otters and marine biodiversity.
