Biodiversity Training & Workshops
The National Biodiversity Data Centre provide training resources and workshops to our recording network. When you have completed one of our training resources, please consider taking part in one of our monitoring schemes. By learning to identify species, submitting records to the National Biodiversity Data Centre either through casual recording or our monitoring schemes, you will make a significant contribution to better understand how Ireland’s biodiversity is changing.
Each year the National Biodiversity Data Centre runs an extensive programme of workshops on species identification and recording, from workshops on trees or butterflies, to the lesser known groups such as the Silphidae or carrion beetles. You can find out what future workshops are planned here.
